Gryt 1.11.40
A thread reply that arrived while you were loading the thread no longer goes missing, and a burst of refused messages no longer leaves the rest of your queue stuck. Speaking rings and latency badges now survive a server restart, and a video in chat has its real shape before it loads instead of jumping around.
Voice & video
- Fixed
After a server restart, the speaking ring and the latency badge on someone's tile could stay blank for several seconds even though their tile came back right away. Both come back with it now.
Turning your camera off right as you joined a call could leave a screen share you started afterward showing the camera's video instead of its own, and turning the camera back on could then bump the share off screen. Camera and screen share each keep their own video now.
Chat
- Fixed
A reply that arrived in a thread while its first page was still loading could vanish once the page came in, whether it was someone else's message or your own. It stays now.
A refused message didn't say which one it was, so a burst of refusals settled the wrong rows in your retry queue and left the rest stuck pending until you reloaded. Each refusal now clears the right one.
A video in chat guessed its shape, then jumped once it started loading and again once you pressed play. It has its real shape from the start now.
Settings & app
- New
In Server settings, the version chip next to a server's version now opens that server's release notes, listing what's changed since you're on it and how to update.
- Fixed
Check for Updates never answered on the Microsoft Store build, so pressing it sat on Checking forever. It now says the Store keeps you up to date.
Nobody wrote this one up, so the list above is all of it. When something lands that’s worth explaining there’s a post about it instead.
